The 2025 legislative session in Lansing is WHITE HOT right now and there’s a bill moving that you NEED to hear about.
As REVENGE for President Trump taking back the White House, the gun-grabbers just launched a major attack on our gun rights and it’s ALL HANDS ON DECK to DEFEND our Second Amendment!
Michigan State Senator Veronica Klinefelt (SD11) has filed Senate Bill 111 in Lansing that blows the doors off of the existing “Red Flag” gun confiscation law.
This is an all-out EMERGENCY!
That’s why I’m counting on you to please sign your digital petition right away!
As you’ll see, these petitions demand that your State Representative and Senator vote “NO!” on this Bloomberg-inspired, Whitmer-approved gun grab, Senate Bill 111.
Without your action, we could be staring straight at a gun control DISASTER.
This attack gives government the power to strip “vulnerable” adults of their firearms and Second Amendment rights simply for “purchasing or possessing a firearm” — with ZERO due process!
You read that right.
If the government decides you fit their criteria, the simple act of exercising your Second Amendment rights can be used as evidence that you’re a danger to yourself or others and you can lose your firearms – possibly for life.
I’m sure you already know this, but “Red Flag” laws never stopped a killer – they never have, and they never will.
The Radical Left’s gun-control agenda has nothing to do with saving lives – its exclusive purpose is control.
You see, “Red Flag” laws allow a judge to order your firearms confiscated without you ever being charged, tried or convicted of a crime.
Current law states that a “Red Flag” order can only be requested by family, police or “medical professionals.”
And a judge can even issue the order to confiscate your guns at an ex parte hearing, where you aren’t even present to defend yourself against your accuser!
But it is about to get MUCH worse by expanding the language and allowing older Michiganders to be stripped of their firearms and rights simply because a Leftist doctor didn’t like their politics and decided they were “unfit”.
And because judges are terrified of being blamed for a mass shooting, they rubber-stamp almost every single red flag request that comes across their desk.
Can you imagine the horror at being shocked out of your sleep by hearing your front door kicked in at 3:45 am in the morning by a SWAT team, only to find out your freedom is being snatched away from you simply because you were “red-flagged” for owning or purchasing a firearm?
It makes me angry. And every purple-haired liberal in the state is foaming at the mouth at the idea of passing this law.
The bill is modeled after the Red Flag expansion law that Governor Gavin Newsom is pushing in California right now.
But Gretchen Whitmer is our governor and she wants this law passed, badly.
The fact is, we’re looking at a real disaster here if we don’t stand up and FIGHT BACK.
Now, I know some might say it’s not necessary to fight back because Republicans have a slim majority in the Michigan House of Representatives.
But the reality is Michigan Republicans have stabbed gun owners in the back so many times it’s more surprising when they don’t!
In fact, GOP Speaker of the House Matt Hall voted with the DEMOCRATS in favor of our mandated gun lockup law that the Democrats passed when they had the majority.
Do you really think he’ll fight hard for gun owners after that betrayal? How about after another shooting in Michigan?
We can win this, but only if we fight and fight HARD!
I often think of how in the winter of 1777-1778, with his army freezing and hungry, support from Congress in the gutter and the Conway Cabal trying to OUST him as commander of the Continental Army, General George Washington could have quit.
All the odds were against him, but Washington believed in a principle we hold at our very core here at the Michigan Firearms Association:
We might not win every fight; we just cannot lose the war.
From this point forward, we REFUSE to let the Radical Left OR the RINOs take one single inch of ground without making them pay for it.
It’s time for gun owners like you and me to band together and FIGHT BACK tooth and nail.
To start with, please sign your digital “STOP RED FLAG GUN CONFISCATION EXPANSION” petitions to the Michigan Firearms Association right away.
But if it’s possible, I hope you’ll consider a generous contribution as well.
Your financial support will help Michigan Firearms Association launch a massive four-part plan to crank up the heat in opposition to this attack on our gun rights, including:
- Generating 500,000 signed petitions from all over Michigan insisting the State Legislature STOP their vicious attacks on our Second Amendment freedoms.
- Using email, social media and hard-hitting Internet ads to mobilize an additional one MILLION Michiganders.
- Deploying 250,000 pieces of direct mail, side-stepping the digital clutter and censorship platforms to mobilize gun owners directly to this fight.
- Building a statewide, Second Amendment response force of tens of thousands of trained gun rights lobbyists-activists who have direct access to state legislators, in order to inflict maximum pressure in the lead up for floor action on these bills.
The more gun owners we can mobilize, the better our chances are of stopping any gun control deal.
